The former lawmaker who represented Oyo South Senatorial District, Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi has secured approval for the proposed 100kWp solar mini-grid project meant for development in two communities; Ilado and Alapa within Ibarapa region of Oyo State.
For the relentless effort and genuine love for development Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi has for his people, the project has been approved for the Rural Electrification Fund(REF) Grant for Mini-Grid project earmarked for the year 2020/2021.
Despite not in office for a while, Okanlomo of Ibadan has distinguished himself as leader with genuine love for progress and development of Oyo State as a whole.
Baale Ilado, Mr. Gbolagade Hassan thanked Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi for the role he played to ensure speedy securing approval for the project.
“It is a thing of surprise and joy to us in Ilado community that Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi could help the community despite not in office. Indeed, Oyo South Senatorial District is missing a true representative”.
Baale Alapa, Mr. Ajibade Okin also commended Senator Akanbi and described him as a true servant leader any society craving for development should pray for.
