Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi sympathized and commiserated with former governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko over the death of his loving wife, Hajia Atika Wamakko.
Senator Akanbi who represented the good people of Oyo South Senatorial District at the 8th Assembly along with the husband of the deceased, said the death of Hajia Atika came as a shock to him.
Senator Akanbi in a condolence visit to Senator Wamakko, prayed to Allaah to grant the soul of Hajia Atika eternal rest.
“I received the news about the passing of Hajiya Atika Wamakko, the beloved wife of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, with deep sadness.
“On behalf of my family, I express my deepest condolences to the former governor of Sokoto and his family.
“While praying that Almighty Allah comfort them at this moment, I also beseech Munificent Allah to forgive Hajiya Atika Wamakko her shortcomings like every other mortal and grant her Alijanna Firdaus. Amin.”
