No fewer than seven people have been confirmed died in clash between men of Western Nigeria Security Network codenamed Amotekun, Oyo State unit with Fulani herdsmen in Ibarapa zone of the state.

The face off between Operation Amotekun and Fulani herdsmen was reported by Punch Newspaper to have started at Okebi village in Aiyete community.

A resident of the area, Mr. Saliu confirmed to Punch correspondent that at least seven persons died while seven houses were razed in the face off between Operation Amotekun and Fulani herdsmen.

This clash between Amotekun and Fulani herdsmen came days after the corps clashed with the youth in the area over new year carnival.

One Alhaji Usman Okebi and his two sons were reportedly killed in the clash between Amotekun outfit and Fulani herdsmen in Ibarapaland.
