In furtherance of his vision to teach how to fish rather than giving fish, Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi through his foundation has shortlisted 200 successful applicants for skill acquisition programme.
This was announced by Akeem Badmus, popular Ibadan based digital marketer and brand strategist who is also one of the programme coordinators.
In a circular obtained by freshpage.com.ng, the foundation revealed that due process was followed before successful applicants were shortlisted for the skill acquisition programme which aimed at empowering youths.
Forty-seven (47) applicants were shortlisted for Make Up category of the skill acquisition while 49 applicants made successful list of Catering category. Tie and Dye category had 31 successful applicants. Soap Making, Shoe Making and Phone Repair have 36, 35 and 2 successful applicants respectively.
The Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi Foundation (RAAF) has announced that registration will hold from December 1 – 10th, 2020 at its skill acquisition centre, opposite customary court, Inalende, Ibadan.
