Honourable Commissioner for Works and Transport in Oyo State, Professor Dahud Shangodoyin, on Monday inspected the ongoing Computerized Vehicle Inspection Services (CVIS) projects at Idi-Ape and Eleyele, Ibadan.

When completed, the CVIS centres will serve both Private and Public Vehicle Owners to ascertain their vehicles’ roadworthiness while making the process seamless for both the officers and vehicle owners.

Professor Shangodoyin during the inspection explained that “CVIS, when completed will help detect every small Vehicle defects that are potential hazards.”

“This will therefore, make it easy to rectify before they become major issues quickly. It is one of the Governor Seyi Makinde-led government’s initiative of ensuring safety on Oyo State roads.”
