Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has handed over a brand new Toyota Land Cruiser SUV to Olubadan-designate, Senator Lekan Balogun.
The Chairman, Ibadan South East Local Government Area, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, presented the key of SUV to Olubadan-designate at his Alarere residence hours to ascension of his forefathers throne.
The coronation ceremony of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadan land, Senator Lekan Balogun is scheduled to hold at historic Mapo Hall on Friday, March 11, 2022.
The Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun who doubles as Chairman of the Coronation Committee on Wednesday said that the government was ready for coronation ceremony of Oba, Dr. Moshood Olalekan Ishola Balogun (Alli Okunmade II).
Expected at the coronation are first class traditional rulers, senators, elder statesmen, captains of industry, businessmen, sons and daughters of Ibadan land home and abroad.
