Today marks the 40th day which the Former Governor of Oyo state, His Excellency, Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi left the world.

FRESHPAGE.COM.NG reports that late Ajimobi died at First Cardiology Centre from complication of COVID-19 on June 25, 2020.

The fidau prayer organized by deceased family held at his Oluyole residence. Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello led other Islamic clerics to offer prayers for the soul of late Senator Abiola Ajimobi to rest well.

The cleric charged people present at the fidau prayer to always strive to leave good legacy behind.

The event which was in line with the protocols laid down by NCDC was attended by some prominent people though it was strictly a family affair.

Among those who attended were His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje along side with his wife, Dr. Hafsat Ganduje, Ajimobi’s daughter, Fatimah Ganduje along with her husband, Idris Ajimobi, Ajimobi’s wife Mrs Florence Ajimobi.

The atmosphere was like a reunion for progressives in the state, Senator Teslim Folarin, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Senator Fatai Buhari and host of others attended the fidau prayer.
