The founder and president of Prince Kayode Oyetunde Bayewuwon (PKOB) Foundation, Prince Kayode Bayewuwon has expressed his sincere gratitude President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on behalf of good people of Oyo State especially road users of Oyo-Ogbomoso Expressway following the approval of payment for completion of the road project.
Prince Bayewuwon made this known in a statement made available to FreshPage on Tuesday.
Prince Bayewuwon stressed the economic importance of the road connecting South West with North Central region of the country.
He equally appreciated the Hon. Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi for is dedicated efforts in advancing critical infrastructure like Oyo-Ogbomoso Expressway that has suffered years of neglect.
Prince Bayewuwon commended federal lawmakers from Ogbomoso land for their insightful legislation towards the approval of payment for completion of Oyo-Ogbomoso expressway.
“We extend our sincere gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to infrastructure development, particularly the completion of the Oyo-Ogbomoso Express Road.
“Our appreciation also goes to the Honorable Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi, for his dedicated oversight and tireless efforts in advancing this critical project.
“We equally commend His Royal Majesty, Ọba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, Orumogege III, the Soun of Ogbomoso, for his steadfast advocacy and commitment to the welfare of his people.
“The Oyo-Ogbomoso Express Road is a vital economic lifeline that will enhance transportation and safety. We remain grateful for these combined efforts and look forward to its completion for the benefit of all”.
