The Aare Ofiki, His Royal Highness, Oba Gbenga Adigun Adeoye Oyetunji Oyinlola II JP phf has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State for renaming the Oke Ogun Polytechnic after former Secretary to the State Government, Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleoso.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday, the traditional ruler praised Governor Makinde for recognizing the contributions of Chief Koleoso to the development of Oyo State and Oke Ogun in particular.
The Chairman, ATISBO local government area Policy Advisory Committee also congratulated Chief Koleoso on this achievement, saying it is a testament to his dedication and service to the people of Oyo State.
The monarch wished Chief Koleoso continued success and blessings in all his endeavors.

“When the news of the intention of His Excellency, Engineer. Seyi Makinde, on the renaming of Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Saki, in the name of our living legend, I felt great and joyous. It’s a reward for good deeds.
“Babalaje exemplifies dignity, honor, and a role model that deserves the immortalization whilst alive. He fought for 70% of the development we are enjoying in Oke Ogun today. He has no equal in love for the development of Oke Ogun. I am so proud to be associated with him.

“May God grant him good health and longevity to further help in the furtherance of influencing infrastructure and good road network to Oke Ogun land,” the Aare Ofiki said.
The monarch also used the opportunity to remind Governor Seyi Makinde of his campaign promise which is the construction of Agunrege – Owo – Ofiki – Irawo 17km road network.
He said the road when constructed would facilitate effective transportation of farm produce.
He added, “I therefore use this opportunity to remind His Excellency, Engineer. Seyi Makinde, on his promise during the campaign to construct the Agunrege – Owo – Ofiki – Irawo 17km road network.
“The road, when constructed, would facilitate effective transportation of food from the hinterland to the city, thereby boosting the economy and Internally Generated Revenue of both the Local and State government respectively.”
