Oyo State Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, in collaboration with Shell Nigeria Gas, hosted a customer and stakeholder forum yesterday to provide updates on the ongoing gas infrastructure project in Oyo State. The event aimed to inform sector off-takers about the recent developments and the anticipated impact of the project on the local economy.
Barr. Ashamu Nurudeen Temilolu Seun, the Honourable Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, represented the Oyo State Government at the forum. On behalf of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration, he reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to the gas infrastructure project. He emphasized the medium and long-term benefits of the project, which include enhancing energy security and fostering economic growth in the state.
“This project is a cornerstone of our administration’s vision for a sustainable and prosperous Oyo State,” Barr.
