A political group loyal to Senator Monsurat Sunmonu who represented Oyo Central Senatorial District between 2015 to 2019 tagged TeamSMS has sent a strong warning to the Executive Chairman, Oyo East Local Government, Hon. Saheed Arowosaye to fanning embers of hatred and spreading falsehoods which capable of igniting political violence in the LG.
The group made the in a statement issued by its coordinator and made available to FRESHPAGE.COM.NG.
The statement read;
“A chick that will grow into a cock can be spotted the very day it hatches; which means that you can easily foresee the future of something through the character and tell-tale signs it shows today. We decided to keep mute since last week that Hon Saheed Arowosayeh as been fanning embers of discord and falsehoods against our darling mother.

“Our silence on this issue is not the silence of slavery, but like fire under ashes just to douse the tension and calm frayed nerves in the interest of unity, peace and development.
“We hereby issue a stern warning to Mr. Chairman, Oyo East Local Government, Hon. Arowosaye against stoking falsehoods and political violence within the Local Government and Oyo Federal Constituency, assert that “all the forces of darkness can not stop what God has ordained”. – Isaiah 14:27
“We will also like to caution you and your crime partners that enough is enough, stay humble and don’t let your ignorance and arrogance consume you. Your continuous hullabaloo to denigrate our leader hold no substance. Alleging that, your ongoing conspiracy to degrade or tarnish the image of our political godmother who has once helped you when your so called leaders neglected you can lead to cease fire.

“It’s only an ingrate that will be pushed, ganged and team up to hold the caliber of our distinguished leader of high repute down politically but we don’t think you and your forces can hold our darling mother down politically because what God has ordained must surely come to pass.
“An indefatigable leader with bedrock of consistent principles, moral compass, vision and that possess the abilities to build consensus across divides like Sen. Monsurat is what’s needed at this crucial time to change the old rhetoric and lobby for developmental projects for our constituency.
