The feud between Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki and his Deputy, Philip Shuaibu took a new twist as Governor Obaseki sacked Media Aide attached to the office of Deputy Governor. This came barely days after Department of State Security denied Shuaibu access to Governor Obaseki in public event.
The scenario which played out at a Church service held in Benin-City to mark the 32nd anniversary of the creation of Edo State.
The Deputy Governor, Shuaibu stood up to greet Obaseki but a DSS operative blocked him a few meter away from while Mr. Obaseki keeps mum.
Shuaibu while addressing the media shortly after the event said he would not allow ambition to affect his relationship with Governor Obaseki. He said his loyalty to the Governor remains intact.
