His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr ) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja (ARUSA 1) has commended President Bola Tinubu for bringing so much developmental projects to Ibadan and Oyo State at large.
The commendation message was contained in the press release issued and signed by the Chief Press Secretary to Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Ayoade Solomon Olugbemiga shortly after the courtesy visit paid to Olubadan Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja by the Management Staff of the Federal Ministry of Works at Olubadan Palace, Oke-Aremo, Ibadan on Monday.

Kabiyesi observed that infrastructural facilities are being brought to Ibadan and Oyo State in general in terms of road construction / rehabilitation in recent times.
The paramount ruler advised the Federal Government to ensure quality materials are used in the road construction to guaranty durability of the road construction not only in Ibadanland, Oyo State but throughout the country.
He further noticed that some of our roads are in deplorable condition as a result of overloaded trucks and other vehicles plying our roads and lack of proper drainage along the roads.
The Monarch assured the visitors according to their request that aggressive sensitisation programmes will be embarked upon for the the people in Ibadan and Oyo State to ensure that the water ways are not blocked by refuse.
Earlier in his appreciative statement ,the leader of the team, Mr Aina Kolawole on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Works thanked the Olubadan and members of his council for the warm reception and hospitality extended to the staff on their arrival at Ibadan and Oyo State to embark upon on the on – going projects in the state.
According to the leader of the team the Federal Ministry of Works requested for the support of Kabiyesi and other traditional rulers to provide enabling environment for the workers to do their jobs effectively and perfectly.
Finally, he further solicited the help of His Imperial Majesty to stop the residents from encroaching on the set back for their personal gains as well as desisting from dropping refuse on the water ways.
Present at the courtesy visit reception were the Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba (Barr ) Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola ,the Otun Balogun of Ibadanland Oba (Dr) Kolawole Adegbola, Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland Oba Abiodun Kola – Daisi, Ashipa Olubadan of Ibadanland Oba Salawudeen Amidu Ajibade, Ashipa Balogun of Ibadanland Oba Dauda Abiodun Azees, the Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland Oba Akeem Mobolaji Adewoyin.
