The Allied People’s Movement (APM) candidate for Oyo Federal Constituency, Barrister Seun Temilolu Nurudeen Ashamu, has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering purposeful representation, declaring that the people of the constituency “deserve more” in terms of development and quality leadership.
In a New Month message shared on his official Facebook wall on Saturday, Ashamu reflected on his years of public service and outlined his vision for Oyo Federal Constituency if elected into the House of Representatives.
According to him, his assessment of the constituency revealed the need for stronger representation, improved access to quality education, greater youth engagement and empowerment, enhanced human capital development, women empowerment, facilitation of road construction and rehabilitation, employment opportunities, and continuous engagement with stakeholders across the constituency.

Ashamu stated that his nearly six years of service as a Commissioner under the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, combined with his private sector experience, have adequately prepared him for effective representation at the National Assembly.
The APM standard-bearer also highlighted some of his contributions over the years, noting that he has facilitated employment opportunities for Oyo indigenes, consistently advocated for the rehabilitation of major roads, and prioritised young people through various recommendations and interventions.
While acknowledging these efforts, Ashamu maintained that greater opportunities exist to attract more development to Oyo Federal Constituency through effective legislative representation.
He assured residents that his focus, if elected, would be on attracting projects and programmes capable of improving the quality of life of the people through better education, infrastructure, youth and women empowerment, job facilitation, human capital development and inclusive stakeholder engagement.
Describing the forthcoming election as an opportunity to reposition the constituency for sustainable growth, Ashamu called on residents to support what he described as a vision of responsive, accountable and people-centred representation.
He concluded his New Month message with prayers for peace, progress and prosperity for every family in Oyo Federal Constituency while reiterating his campaign slogan:
“Alubarika for you, me and all.”
