Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde on Thursday paid condolence visit to the family of Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Abdulganiyu Adekunle Salawudeen, who has joined his ancestors recently.
Governor Makinde signed a condolence register and comforted Kabiyesi’s family.
While speaking at the palace, he described monarch’s death as a personal loss to him, Iseyin land and Yoruba race.
He recalled that Kabiyesi was a partner in progress for the growth and development of Iseyin which he loved dearly.
Governor Makinde said when Oba AbduGaniyu was hospitalised, he signed the documents for the LAUTECH Campus in Iseyin.
Governor Makinde promised that his administration would give him a befitting burial.
