Makinde has Achieved What Ajimobi Could Not through Concession of Agbowo Complex — APC Chieftain
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who contested party’s primary election in 2019 for guber ticket, Barrister Niyi Akintola has praised Oyo State Governor Engr Seyi Makinde for taking a bold step to revive abandoned Agbowo Complex edifice.
Barrister Akintola who is also Ba-mofin of Ìbà dà nland made made the statement while speaking at a programme organized by Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State branch. The event which held at the Aderogba Hall of the NUJ headquarters, Iyanganku, Ibadan.
Chief Akintola while speaking disclosed that Agbowo Complex has suffered years of neglect by the past administration in even since it was constructed during the military era of Brigadier General David Jemibewon as far as 1977.
As a legal luminary, Chief Akintola advised Oyo State Governor to review the fifty years lease for taking over of the complex stressing that the fifty years is too long.
