Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has approved the provision of necessary facilities that will allow for the appointment of ten new judges into the State judiciary.
The Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Iyabo Yerima revealed this at a special valedictory court session in honour of late Hon. Justice Adegboye Gbolagunte.
She however disclosed that the state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has granted approval for necessary facilities that will allow for the swearing in of ten judges to further bridge the gap of inadequate judges in the state.

Represented by the State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr Abiodun Aikomo, Governor Makinde lauded the integrity and courage of late Justice Adegboye Gbolagunte stressing that he will forever be remembered because he had done well to immortalized himself through various landmark judgements.
Speaking on behalf of body of Senior Advocates, Chief Niyi Akintola, SAN observed that late Justice Adegboye Gbolagunte left a good name behind for children, urging them to manage and harness opportunities abound with the name.
The Chairman Ibadan Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Ibrahim Lawal called on the personnel at the bench and the bar to continue to maintain firmness regarding ethics of the legal profession as demonstrated by the late Hon Justice Adegboye Gbolagunte.
