The deputy governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat has reiterated that the executive governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu never ordered removal of Central Circuit Television (CCTC) cameras, billboards lights and others at Lekki Toll Gate which which aid the killing of armless protesters while many sustained injuries.
Hamzat noted that in his verified Tweet account @drobafemihamzat that the ordering of curfew by the state was necessitated to guarantee safety of residents after thugs, cultists and opportunistic people were instigating violence everywhere.
At the Lekki shooting, many were reportedly trapped in lagoon as many stampede one another scampering for safety of their lives.
The deputy governor plead with the public to exercise some restraint as the state embarked on clean up and building bridges.
He lamented that parody accounts and trolls aggravated the crisis that would been managed without wasting any life.
