International Association of World Peace Advocates with the United Nations ECOSOC Special Consultative Status and Signatory to Global School Commitment to the SDGS honour Asiwaju Seun Fakorede, the honourable commissioner for youth and sports with the award of Eminent Peace Ambassador.
This award qualifies Asiwaju Seun Fakorede to all right and privileges binding the signatories and also expected to function as a peace maker in any part of the world with regards to the declaration on the right of the people to peace (1984) of the United Nations resolution.
In his remark, the president of the World Peace, Ambassador Per Staften from Denmark acknowledged the inspiring profile of the honourable commissioner for youth and sports in Oyo State as his impact in nurturing viable network and relationship across the continent of Africa. Asiwaju Seun Fakorede’s achievement has etched his name in gold for good leadership that result in national socio-economic transformation with incorruptible passion for youth empowerment, good governance and nation building.
In his speech, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede believe hope becomes an option only when we get involved. Empathy must influence the nature of our interactions. And we must remember that compassion is contagious. The more we spread it, the more the people around us are we feel it and cherish it. And the more we see it elsewhere, the more it becomes attainable where we are. He enjoy youth globally to play their impact.
The chairman of the occasion, honourable speaker of Oyo State house of assembly which was ably represented by Hon. Aremo Adekunle commended the international association of World Peace Advocates for bring the honour to Oyo State.
