The Chairman, Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission OYSIEC, Aare Kazeem Abiola Olagunju has urged all the 32 newly elected local government chairmen who received their certificates of return from the commission to fulfil all campaign promises made to their people across all the local government areas.
Barrister Olagunju disclosed this at the OYSIEC office today after the presentation of certificates of return to all winners of the Local Government polls held last Saturday. He noted that only the reschedule election for Ido local government alone will hold on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in all the wards and units in the local government.
Aare Olagunju urged the council bosses to work with their subordinates in the local government to achieve desirable results that will impact lives of people.
He reminded them that local government is the closest to people that they must work development template that will promote the growth of grassroots.
