The Chairman, Oyo State Agricultural Credit Corporation of Oyo State (ACCOS), Hon. Jimoh Afees Adelowo Onaara on Friday honoured with the Award of Excellence by the Bayero University Kano (BUK) students.
Hon. Onaara was awarded for his immense contributions to education and support of the students at all time.
The students described Hon. Jimoh Afees Adelowo Onaara as a man with a broad vision and spiritual excellence. He was remarked that Hon. Onaara as an excellent administrator, outstanding politician, highly rated and articulate people’s representative and a self disciplined personality.
“He is too courteous and soft in approach with pure mind of engagement, a fearless and highly respected gold gotten leader whose generosity knows no bound”.
They describe him as an unrelenting advocate and promoter of excellent virtues whose aims and wealth is for serving humanity, his sense of philanthropism is one imbued with personal values and the deep commitment to social justice which could be seen in the different social, political and business aspect of his life.
The Chairman, Agricultural Credit Corporation of Oyo State (ACCOS), Hon. Onaara received the award alongside the Manager of the Corporation and Hon. M( Comfort Olajide. He expressed his happiness for such a kind gesture that it came to him as a great surprise, he stated that the award is a Clarion call to do more for people. He said his aim has always been his desire to put smiles on the face of people. He thanked the students sincerely and wish them safe journey back to Kano.
Honourable Mrs Comfort Olajide said she was elated and highly impressed that Oyo State Students are doing well in Bayero University Kano and pledged his support for the students at all time. While congratulating the Hon. Jimoh Onaara for the award describing him as a resourceful and gracious person praying that he’s blessed more.
The Corporation General Manager thanked the students, advise them and wish them well in their endeavors.
