Ahead of the 2027 general elections, former Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has picked the All Progressives Congress, APC’s 2026 Expression of Interest Form and Nomination Form for his governorship ambition in Oyo State.
Adelabu’s Personal Assistant, Ajiboye picked the form on behalf of his boss at the APC Secretariat, Abuja.
FreshPage reports that Adelabu recently submitted the performance report of Ministry of Power to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He later submitted letter of resignation to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, Senator George Akume 22th April.
The APC camp loyal to Alli expressed that Oyo South Senator, High Chief Sharafadeen Alli is the consensus candidate and choice of the Abuja big-wigs while the camp loyal to Chief Adelabu insisted that the party’s candidate will emerge through direct primaries.
Engr Faozey Oladokun Nurudeen on the other picked Senate Nomination Form and Expression of Interest Form to represent Oyo Central Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 general elections.
