The mother of Kikelomo who travelled from Ogbomoso to Ibadan has alleged that she left her husband’s house in Ogbomoso when her urine was requested for ritual rites meant for an undisclosed ailment for her daughter.
The mother of Kikelomo revealed this in a Live Broadcast of founder of Agidigbo FM, Mr. Oriyomi Hamzat through his verified social media platform.
It would be recalled that the station had through its medium called on the parents of the 17-year old student, Kikelomo who left Ogbomoso to Ibadan to meet her mother but missed the road and taken to Agidigbo FM premises on Sunday.
The mother of Kikelomo who claimed that her attention was called to the Live Broadcast made by the radio station yesterday made it to premises of the station on Monday afternoon. While was fielding questions from the anchor of the Live Broadcast, the mother of 17-year lady said she left Ogbomoso and relocated to Ibadan when the Kikelomo was a year plus.
Mrs. Dupe Mustapha said when she married Kikelomo’s father, he was a mechanic that she did not know how he became herbalist. She however exclaimed that father of her husband was herbalist before he died.
Mrs. Dupe Mustapha said the father of Kikelomo called her yesterday nigh and they spoke on phone. The mother said the information she received from her father is that Kikelomo stole a sum of N9,500 from her guardian in Ogbomoso and borrow a sum of N1,000 from the Church purse.
When the mother was asked if she would allow Kikelomo to relocate to her side; she said she wants Nigerians to intervene so that problem won’t arise if she decided to accept the young lady.
Kikelomo, while responding as well said she did not steal any money but she was threatened by her guardian that is why she left Ogbomoso to Ibadan. When she was asked about where she got money for transport from Ogbomoso; she said she collected money she contributed in Church.
She streesed that she hawks fried soya beans in Ogbomoso from where she saved the profit she made.
The anchor of the Live Broadcast called on the father of Kikelomo, Mr. Adekunle Ajala to appear at the station to know they will resolve the case amicably. Alhaji Hamzat resolved to handle Kikelomo to her mother pending the time her father would show up.
