Voices for Liberty, a socio-political organization comprises of youths residing in Oyo State has announced date for her upcoming peaceful protest to register their displeasure with various hardship Nigerians are passing through since removal of fuel subsidy.

According to the information made available to FRESHPAGE.COM.NG by the convener, Oyedeji Adewale popularly called Emmy Dee Light, the peaceful protest will hold on Monday, February 19, 2024.

On what informed the decision of the group to protest peacefully, Adewale said, fuel hike, food inflation, border closure, poor electricity, insecurity among others pushed the group to come up with the scheduled protest.

Why answering questions on what the group want from FG, Adewale said the call for mass action against economic hardship will not benefit the youth constituency who have embraced Japa but healing balm to Nigerians suffering.

He said members of the group have been warned to do away from smoking, use of abusive words, harming with weapons and character assassination of the governments.

He said anyone found guilty will be on his or her own.
