Easter celebration has been described as the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ by His Grace (Dr) Williams Oluwarotimi Aladekugbe.
The statement was contained in the 2025 Easter message sent to all mankind by the Archbishop of Ibadan Ecclesiastical province and the Lord Bishop of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, His Grace (Dr) Williams Oluwarotimi Aladekugbe and made available to journalists by the Diocesan Communicator, Chief Solomon Olugbemiga Ayoade on Sunday.
According to the Clergy, Easter is the vocal point of Christianity, it is the essence of Christianity , if we take away resurrection from Christianity, our service is in vain, he further stressed.
“The resurrection of Jesus Christ brought complete salvation, forgiveness, freedom and hope to possess the heavenly kingdom “, he explained.

“Among of all prophets sent by God, only Jesus Christ died and resurrected and will die no more, consequently,all true Christians have hope of eternal life.
” I congratulate you all Christians on the celebration of 2025 Easter celebration and pray that all that is dead in every one’s life will be restored in Jesus mighty name, the Archbishop prayed.
