Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari has appointed a University of Ibadan scholar, Professor Eghosa Osaghae as Director-General of the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs (NIIA).

The immediate past vice-chancellor of the Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State is of the Department of Political Science, Faculty of the Social Sciences, University of Ibadan.
