As a way of immortalizing former governor of the state, Engr. Governor Seyi Makinde on Friday announced the renaming of Technical University, Ibadan after immediate past governor of the state, late Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

Governor Makinde made announcement at the second convocation ceremony of the First Technical University in Nigeria.

Late former governor Ajimobi was the governor of Oyo State between 2011-2019, Technical University was built under his regime to cater for technical education at tertiary level.
