Barely two weeks after residents of Ibadan demonstrated over scarcity of new naira notes and fuel, angry residents again littered streets of Ibadan protesting the continuous pain they pass through to get new naira notes and fuel at exorbitant price than official pimp price.
FreshPage gathered that was a total blockage of Eleyele-Eruwa road making difficult for those heading to Sango area and those leaving Ibadan to Ibarapa zone of the state. Although, the protest was peace as at the press time.
There were partial road block in areas like Bodija, Iwo road with tearful face of youth.

FRESHPAGE.COM.NG understands that the protest was necessitated following the steps taken by Central Bank Nigeria not to reserve or extend deadline for old naira notes swap through commercial banks.
