Former Chairman Board of Commissioners at the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC on Monday received former First Lady of Oyo State, Chief (Dr) Mrs Florence Ajimobi at his Ibadan residence over the death of his father, Pa Amos Adetunji Alabi Akande.
FRESHPAGE recalls that Pa Amos Akande died on September 2, 2025 and funeral arrangements were concluded with grand reception held at Baptist Day School Field, Otu, Itesiwaju LGA on November 1st, 2025.
Prof. Akande, flanked by his supportive wife, Dr Modupe Akande expressed his gratitude to Mrs Ajimobi for honouring him. He commended former first lady of the state for her compassion and motherly love. He offered prayer for Mrs Ajimobi and her entourage who joined her for condolence visitation.

Former Deputy National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Bolaji Afeez Repete and others were among the entourage of Mrs Ajimobi while former ALGON Boss, Hon. Yekeen Popoola was also in attendance.
