Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Adeolu Akande, has commiserated with the family of Hon. Timi Adibi and the entire people of Ogbomoso-land on the death of Hon. Timi Adibi.
Hon. Adibi died this morning at the age of 64.
In a statement issued by his media office in Ibadan today, Prof. Akande noted that Hon. Adibi was a conscientious politician and administrator whose tenures as member of the House of Representatives; Chairman, Ogbomosho North Local Government; Oyo State Sports Council and , Oyo State Signage Board were all devoted to the service of the people.
“As the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, I had the privilege of working with him when he served as the Chairman of Ogbomosho North Local Government and I can attest to his commitment to the welfare of the people. He was easy-going, humble and ever committed to the use of politics to improve the lot of the people.
“I pray that God forgives his sins and grant him eternal rest.
“I also pray that God grants his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of his death.”
