The Director-General, Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership, Engr Joseph Tegbe has condole with the family of late Chief Yekini Adeojo who answered the call of his creator on Friday.
Engr Joseph described late Ibadan politician and business man as a renowned leader and respected religious leader whose consistency in politics was noteworthy and exemplary.
Mogaji Tegbe made this know in a condolence message made available to FRESHPAGE in Ibadan.
“I received the news of Alhaji Yekini Adeojo’s passing with a heavy heart but submission to the will of the Almighty for life of a renowned leader, former governorship candidate, and respected religious leader.
“In his lifetime, Chief Adeojo was exemplary in private life and public sphere. His consistency in politics is noteworthy and exemplary, rising to become Deputy National Chairman of the PDP and also Chairman of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority where he left indelible legacies. He was a committed religious adherent, culminating in his turbaning as the Seriki Musulumi of Yoruba Land.

“Alhaji Adeojo’s contributions to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole will be deeply missed. His legacy as a dedicated public servant, politician, and religious icon and community leader will continue to inspire future generations.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the Adeojo family at this time, especially my brothers Elias and Sheriff. I also extend my condolences to the Oyo State Government, the Olubadan and indeed all the people of Ibadan on the passage of this icon.
“May Allah grant him eternal rest and comfort his loved ones during this difficult time.”
