The Chairman and founder of ACE Supermarket, Mr. Yinka Afonja has announced a scholarship of two hundred and fifty thousand naira (N250,000.00) to Emmanuel Alayande College of Education students in the School of Secondary Education (Science Programmes). Mr. Afonja made the disclosure at the recently concluded 7th national conference put together by the School of Secondary Education (Science Programmes) which lasted for 3 days.

Mr. Afonja who recently opened another outlet of ACE Mall at the precinct Bodija, Ibadan awarded Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000) for five (5) students where two (2) brilliant students and three (3) indigent students in the School of Secondary Education (Science Programmes).

The Provost, Dr. Rasak Adefabi lauded the initiative and appealed to Alumni network of the college and well meaning Nigerians to toe the path of what Mr. Yinka Afonja did in encouraging the students of the college.

The Dean, School of Secondary Education (Science Programmes), Dr. Philip Iyiola Farayiola joined Provost in commending Scholarship facilitator saying such will attract students to science education and fast track achievement of SDGs.
