The Allied People’s Movement (APM) candidate for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency in the 2027 House of Representatives election, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT, on Monday, November 2, 2026, continued his grassroots ward tour across Lagelu Local Government Area of Oyo State, visiting six additional wards as part of his engagements with residents and community stakeholders.

The second phase of the tour took him through Ward 2 (Apatere/Kuffi/Ogunbode/Ogo), Ward 6 (Lagun), Ward 11 (Ogunjana/Olowode/Ogburo), Ward 12 (Ogunremi/Ogunsina), Ward 13 (Oyedeji/Olode/Kutayi) and Ward 14 (Sagbe/Pabiekun).

The visits provided another opportunity for the APM candidate to meet with residents, party leaders, community stakeholders and other members of the various communities, as he continued his consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Moving from one ward to another, ADLAT took his engagement directly to the grassroots, recognising the importance of reaching communities and listening to the people who form the foundation of the constituency.

The Monday tour followed his earlier ward visits on Sunday, November 1, when he visited Lalupon, Ejioku and Offa-Igbo, covering Wards 7, 8, 9, 4 and 10.

With the latest visits, the APM candidate has now taken his ward tour to several communities across Lagelu, covering the wards visited during the two-day exercise.

The engagements also provided an opportunity for party members and local stakeholders to interact with the candidate and demonstrate their commitment to the political process ahead of the next general elections.

Speaking on the importance of the exercise, the development reflects ADLAT’s emphasis on grassroots engagement and the need for political representation to be built around regular interaction with the people.

The tour further reinforces the importance of community participation in shaping conversations around the future of Akinyele and Lagelu, particularly as residents look towards the 2027 elections.

Engr. ADLAT also recognises the importance of party structures, ward leaders and community stakeholders in sustaining political organisation at the grassroots level.

His continued visits across Lagelu demonstrate his determination to take his message beyond political meetings and into the communities where the people live and conduct their daily activities.

As the race for the Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency seat gathers momentum, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT is positioning his campaign around grassroots engagement, inclusion and the message of Engineering Towards Progress.

For ADLAT, the journey to the Green Chamber begins with connecting with the people at the grassroots.
