Barely 20 days to the much anticipated presidential election, Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi has reconciled with Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for March 11 election.
According to information from the grapevine, Senator Akanbi embraced the last minutes reconciliation for the sake Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is scheduled to visit Ibadan on Tuesday for his presidential campaign.
The sources confirmed to FRESHPAGE.COM.NG the meeting between Senator Akanbi and Folarin held at Jericho’s residence of Okanlomo of Ibadanland. The duo of Senator Akanbi and Folarin promised to work together for the success of the party in the forthcoming general elections, stressing that reconciliation is continuous; the sources affirmed.
FreshPage recalls that the crisis in the Oyo State APC started after the party’s primaries in the State which didn’t go down well with some stakeholders.
Former Environment Commissioner, Barrister Lowo Obisesan and Hon. Akeem Akogun were among Senator Folarin’s entourage to Soji Akanbi’s residence.
