The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has listed 5 Universities that will not admit candidate who scored less than 200 in the last Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the board.
According the spokesperson of JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the universities are;
University of Ibadan, Ibadan.
Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife
University of Benin, Benin
Covenant University, Ogun
University of Lagos, Lagos
The Board added that for the 2020 admission exercise, no candidate with a UTME score of 209 can be considered for admission into any programme at PAU whose minimum UTME score is 210.
Dr. Benjamin made the revelation while speaking on ‘No Uniform UTME Minimum Score for Admission in Abuja’ on Monday.
Dr. Fabian Benjamin added that there was no particular national minimum UTME score for all universities in Nigeria.
