Oyo based non-governmental organization, Omo Iya Kunmi Foundation (OIKF) has announced free vocational training and skills acquisition programme.

According to statement made available to FRESHPAGE.COM.NG by visionary founder of the foundation, Alhaji Saheed Siyanbola, the 3rd in the series of the training and empowerment for the less privileged in the society will welcome applicants to pick up forms at OIKF office located at Old National Bank Building, Owode, Oyo from November 16, 2022 to November 30, 2022.

Saheed said the essence of the initiative is equip people with vocational training and skills acquisition programme so that they can earn their own income and become entrepreneurs. Speaking further with FreshPage, the founder noted that over 250 beneficiaries have benefitted from the vocational training and skills acquisition programme.

Participants will undergo training on Adire and Kampala making, Cakes and Confectionery, Soap and Insecticides Production, Photography, Fish Production and Processing and lastly Paint Production as a way of offering them sustainable livelihood opportunities.
