The speculations surrounding the candidacy of Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli as the authentic gubernatorial candidate of the Oyo State APC have been cleared by the party, as INEC uploads his name and over 25 others ahead of the poll.
The Nation confirmed the development that all issues surrounding the governoship primaries in the states where the contests were contentious over who becomes gubernatorial candidate have been resolved by the party.
The Nation source indicated that the only State having issues with the upload of gubernatorial candidate is in the Northeast region of the country over the choice of the running mate.
Apart from Oyo State, other states where primaries were fiercely contested were Kwara, Adamawa and Bauchi states. Salihu Danladi emerged Kwara APC Governoship candidate, and loyalist of NSA, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu emerged the APC guber candidate in Adamawa defeating the choice of sitting governor, Umaru Fintiri. Mr. Abubakar emerged APC Governoship Candidate in Bauchi State defeating Yusuf Tuggar and others.
