A political support group, BSA Voice of Reason, has declared that the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, is the best choice to occupy the Agodi Government House in the 2027 general election.
In a statement signed by its Coordinator, Elder David Oluokun, the group said Alli possesses the experience, competence and grassroots appeal required to return the APC to power in Oyo State.
According to the statement, the senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District has built an impressive record in public service through legislative interventions, constituency development projects and empowerment programmes that have impacted thousands of residents across the district.
The group noted that Alli has sponsored bills and motions aimed at improving security, youth employment and socio-economic development, while maintaining close engagement with constituents through regular consultations with traditional rulers, market leaders, artisans, students and community groups.
It also highlighted what it described as the senator’s achievements in education, healthcare, water supply, rural infrastructure and ICT development, alongside empowerment initiatives for traders, farmers, women, youths and vulnerable groups.
The statement expressed confidence that Alli’s emergence as governor would enable Oyo State to leverage stronger collaboration with the Federal Government to attract more infrastructure, investments and employment opportunities.
Describing the APC candidate as a loyal party man and a bridge-builder, the group said his leadership qualities, governance experience and wide acceptance across the state make him the right candidate to lead Oyo State.
It urged residents to support Alli’s candidacy in the 2027 governorship election, expressing optimism that his administration would deliver purposeful leadership, inclusive governance and sustainable development across the state’s 33 local government areas.
