Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has put an end to the speculation going round a few months ago over who becomes the governoship candidate of the party by unveiling Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli and Mr. Adesoji Michael Adedeji as his deputy.
The unveiling of the gubernatorial candidate in Ibadan on Thursday recorded large number of party leaders, stakeholders and supporters of the party who have been clamouring for return to Agodi Government House when second term tenure of Governor Makinde ends May 29, 2027.
FreshPage reports that 11 governorship aspirants obtained Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the build up to Primaries.

Although, this newspaper can authoritative say that majority of the aspirants are not happy with the process that produced Senator Sharafadeen Alli. The NWC didn’t announce the result of primaries held in the state and there was no stakeholders’ meeting for all aspirants.

For Senatorial District elections; Mrs. Hannah Ogunesan is the Oyo North Senatorial candidate, Hon. Remi Oseni is the Oyo South Senatorial District candidate while Senator Yunus Akintunde is the Oyo Central Senatorial District candidate.
