Ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial primaries in Oyo State, gubernatorial aspirant, Ololade Usman Bakare, has continued his wide consultations across the state with a strategic meeting involving leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo Federal Constituency.

The well-attended meeting held at the hall located in Old National Park, Ojongbodu, Oyo brought together party elders, ward leaders, youth representatives, women groups, and key stakeholders who engaged in fruitful discussions on the future of the party and the development of Oyo State.

Bakare used the opportunity to appreciate the leaders for their commitment to the progress and unity of the APC, standing firm over the years.
Speaking during the engagement, Bakare reiterated his determination to provide purposeful, people-oriented, and inclusive leadership that would reposition Oyo State for greater economic growth, infrastructural development, youth empowerment, and improved welfare for citizens. He stressed the importance of unity among leaders, party members, noting that collective efforts and mutual understanding remain vital to the success of the APC in 2027 general elections and beyond.

The gubernatorial aspirant who has concluded all necessary process before party primaries assured party faithful that his aspiration is driven by genuine passion to serve the people and build on the legacies of progressive governance in the state. He emphasized the need for continuous grassroots mobilization and closer interaction with party stakeholders at all levels.
In their separate remarks, APC leaders and stakeholders in four LGAs; AFIJIO, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West that made Oyo Federal Constituency commended Bakare for his humility, accessibility, and consultative approach.
They expressed confidence in his leadership qualities and pledged their support toward strengthening the party ahead of future political activities.
The meeting further reinforced the growing acceptance Ololade Usman Bakare’s gubernatorial aspiration as consultations continue across the geopolitical zones of Oyo State.
APC leaders present from Atiba LGA were; Rasaq Babalola, Hon. Lamidi Busari, Hon. Popoola, Segun Ode, Alhaji Demola. Leaders from AFIJIO LGA were; Olorode Oluade, Alhaji Adeyefa, Hon. Anifowose Kabiru, Adeosun Teslim, Hon. Demola Sangodokun while leaders from Oyo East LGA present were; Alhaji Babatunde Isiaka, Onipede Dahud, Hon. Gbemisola A.G, Alhaji Musashiru and Mr. Hassan. Leaders from Oyo West were; Alhaji Razak Ajibike, Alhaji Adebayo Kazeem, Alhaji Muritala Hammed, Alhaji Afeez Adekunle and Alhaji Bisiriyu.
