Dr Ololade Usman Bakare, Oyo State governorship aspirant has officially taken a significant step in his journey to serve the people of Oyo State by picking up the Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Dr Bakare’s bold move underscores his vision and commitment to purposeful leadership, progressive governance, and the collective aspirations of the people.

Speaking shortly after obtaining the forms, Bakare expressed deep gratitude to party leaders, stakeholders, Igbega Oyo Volunteers and teeming supporters who have continually shown confidence in his vision.

The Isale-Bode-born cyber security expert from Ward 4, Unit 7 reaffirmed his readiness to provide transparent, inclusive, and result-driven leadership that will uplift communities, strengthen institutions, and create sustainable opportunities for all.

Bakare noted that his decision to contest is driven by a genuine desire to reposition the state for greater economic growth, improved infrastructure, quality education, and accessible healthcare. He emphasized that the time has come for a new wave of leadership anchored on integrity, competence, and people-centered policies.
