I have not known anyone like Amofin Beulah Adeoye. Apart from being one of the eight siblings belonging to his parent, he is also a remarkably talented legal luminary who has carved a niche for himself in the vast ocean of opportunities – in and outside Nigeria.
About a month ago, Amofin Adeoye played host to young movers and shakers in Oyo state to walk them through critical issues that affect the state’s developmental journey – with painstaking clarity.
On that day, 2nd of August, 2024, his words, powerful yet subtle not only match his action but simply reflect the kind of person he is: optimistic yet realistic, foresight yet blessed with the knowledge of hindsight, humble yet incredibly successful. He is also kind in the real sense of it and generous to a fault.
Amofin Beulah’s crucial parley with scores of young, wondrous and influential chaps, apart from its insistence on allowing participants to pour out their minds on fundamental issues also afforded the legal titan to walk them through the curves and contours of his ideas in advancing and championing the collective interest of humanity.

Trained in public institutions, Amofin Beulah’s stratospheric rise through the complicated ranks of the corporate world from KMPG, Deloitte, etc, etching his name in the sand of time, gave him away as a sort of high achiever who embodies the can-do-it spirit of Nigeria. Diligence, resilience, and grit are parts of the features that stood out.

Quite interestingly, I attended the heart-to-heart conversation at the invitation of one of my friends, and I was blown away not only by his oratorical prowess but by his intellectual sagacity. He came as a sort of confident, brilliant, bold, smart and exceptional leader. I went to the program with an open mind but left with an inspired heart. His ability to speak eloquently and articulately about the potential of our dear state in a plain, layman’s language distinguished him as a leader not just for tomorrow but for today.
