A chieftain of Osun State All Progressives Congress, APC, Prince Felix Awofisayo has advised the Minister of Interior and former Governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to stop activities capable of igniting violence in the state.
Prince Awofisayo reacted through a press statement he signed about Monday’s shooting by thugs and security personnel attached to Minister’s entourage when he visited Ijebu ijesa to announce Alhaji Moshood Adeoti as his preferred gubernatorial candidate ahead of February 19, 2022 primaries election in the state.
It would be recalled that Aregbesola had earlier accused the occupants of Abere Government House of deviating from the true tenets of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The former President-General of Oranmiyan Group Worldwide, Awofisayo recalled that when Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola was the governor of the state, no one could dared to engage in any street show in image of political rally without grave repercussions.
Prince Awofisayo advised Governor Gboyega Oyetola to remain calm and focus more delivering dividends of democracy to good people of Osun State.
He called on the residents not to entertain any fear while going their lawful business in the state. He assured them that the government will not allow miscreants and disgruntled element disturb peace in the state.
