A frontline Yoruba Nation agitator, Prof. Banji Akintoye has boasted that Yoruba Nation would see the light of the day before 2022 runs out.
Prof. Akintoye made the statement in a six- minute interview with BBC News Yoruba which was monitored by FRESHPAGE.COM.NG.
However, Prof. Akintoye remarked that he is not sure of the month it would happen but confident Yoruba Nation will scale through this year.
During the interview, Akintoye stressed that some countries are giving Yoruba Nation agenda necessary backing. He said he won’t mention their names so that Federal Government of Nigeria will not wage war against them.
Akintoye affirmed that United Nations would come onboard at the appropriate time. The scholar said the process to get Yoruba Nation has been decent, civilized and handled in an educated manner.
