The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has increased its examination fee per candidate by 25 per cent effective from 2022 West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSSCE).
Head of WAEC National Office (HNO), Mr. Patrick Areghan announced yesterday that new registration fee will be N18,000 from N13,950.
Mr. Areghan disclosed that the need for examination body to increase the registration fee became necessary was as a result of rising costs of conducting examination by WAEC.
