Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Barr AbdulRaheem AbdulRahman has directed all principals and proprietors of 50 secondary schools delisted by West African Examination Council (WAEC) over their involvement in examination malpractice in the WASSCE.

All the affected school heads are expected to answer question on how their schools indicted for examination malpractice and measures put in place to ensure that terminal classes students are not adversely affected through the period of schools’ derecognition.

FRESHPAGE.COM.NG recalls that WASSCE at its 74th meeting of the Nigeria Examinations Committee delisted 26 public and 24 private secondary schools in Oyo State over involvement in examination malpractice which contravene the laws establishing the examination body and punishable under law.
