The 2004 set of United Secondary School Agugu, Idi-Obi Ibadan, today, January 21,2021 made donation of teaching materials to their alma mater as a token appreciation to the school that produced them in years back.

Teaching materials handed over to school principal were ten cartons of chalk and ten packs as a little way of giving back to society and impact humanity.

The highly elated principal, Mr. Adio K. Ademola appreciated the gesture from the set said the the materials came at the right the school was planning to buy chalk.

He took his time to narrate how his administration has been to maintain the school facilities and keeping them safe despite challenges from hoodlums who usually entered the school after closing hours due to broken fence.

He commended the State government for his pro-masses policy on education and for calling on Alumni network to assist to their various schools in anyway they could.

Mr. Ademola noted that the pioneer set have executed projects like sinking of borehole and others. He stressed that the 2004 set became the first set to donate teaching materials since he assumed duty as principal of the school.

He charged the set not to stop, while praying to God to elevate them.

“We are still expecting you to do more for us, our classrooms need to be upgraded, some don’t have windows. It is only administrative block that have witnessed renovation in recent time. I also want to use this medium to call on other set to think of what they can give to their alma mater.”

The Vice Principal, Academic, Mr. Babayemi gave the closing remark by appreciating the set on behalf of the school management, staff and students for deeming it fit to give back.
