University of Ibadan has produced 233 graduands with First Class Honours across 14 faculties of the institution at this year’s foundation day and convocation ceremony for first degree holders.
The figure represents 4.46 per cent of the total graduands which stood at 5227.

In another development, a total number of 1204 graduands made second class honours (Upper Division) which represents 23.03 per cent while 2842 graduated with second class honours (lower division) which represents 54.37 per cent.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kayode Adebowale congratulated the graduands and urged them to be good ambassadors of the University.
