The Director of Public Communication, University of Ibadan, Mr. Olatunji Oladejo has commiserated with journalists in Oyo State and Nigeria over the death of Guardian photo journalist, Mr. Najeem Raheem.

It is with a heavy heart that I, on behalf of the Directorate of Public Communication, University of Ibadan, send our condolences to the journalism family in Oyo State and Nigeria, over the death of one of its valued members, Mr. Najeem Raheem of The Guardian.
We pray Allah s.w.t to forgive his shortcomings and admit him into Al-Jannah Firdaus.
Our heart goes to you, Barakat Raheem, siblings, and mother.
We believe you will find your strength in Allah in this trying period
