An Alumnus of the University of Ibadan, Kehinde Odanye has been nominated for Future Awards Africa.
Kehinde who works as United Kingdom Youth Ambassador of ONE Campaign, an organisation committed to ending poverty and preventable diseases by 2030, was nominated in the Advocacy and Activism category.
Kehinde recently participated in a 5-day summit for Goalkeepers who are committed to achieving the 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development, organized by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The nominee also received a Spirit of Sussex Gold Award at the University of Sussex for his impactful contributions to extra-curricular activities in UK community at large.
The 17th edition of the Future Africa Awards honours young people between the ages of 18 and 31 for outstanding achievement yearly.
FreshPage gathered that a total number of 128 persons who have distinguished themselves in their various fields were nominated across 25 categories. According to organisers, the theme for this year’s award is ‘Defying Odds, Inspiring Greatness’.
While expressing joy over the nomination, Kehinde said; “I’m absolutely thrilled to share the exciting news that I have received a nomination for The Future Awards Africa prize in the Advocacy and Activism category. This incredible recognition is a testament to the unwavering passion and dedication I have poured into my work.
